Newsflash

Together with Lily Lotus I won a scholarship of Kulturprojekte Berlin " Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung" that brings together Artists and Schools. Our Audio-Visual Project "Reality Remixed - Marzahn Inside Out" was chosen out of 153 with 39 others and together with a group of teenagers we will put sound and image on the "Plattenbauten" of Berlin-Marzahn....the Project has started and there will be a website up with more detailed information up and running by the end of june

Under the eastern Germany city of Gera lies a complex system of tunnels called the "Hoehler". They were started in the middle ages, when the city unquily gained their right to brew beer privately. Then these tunnels were used to cool and store beer.. In 1936 already the nazis send their inspectors to investigate the usage of these tunnels as Bunkers and expanded the system.. After having been left alone in the GDR, they are now used as a unique place for a biennale taking place up to 30m under the earth..

Forests are both architecture and a vivid organism. A digital organism, a »cellular automaton« lives in »forest 2«. He exists in life cycles, which are influenced by physical presence of each visitor. He/it breaths, makes noises, moves through an artifical frest of light objects and causes traces of light.
